Rising Table by Robert van Embricqs
The Rising Table by young Dutch architect Robert van Embricqs is another example of human ingenuity. Coming up with a beautiful and (reasonably) functional object that folds into a flat form is amazing. The Rising Table is part of van Embricqs prize winning rising furniture series.

Dirk Vander Kooij's Endless Saloon Table and Rocking Chair
This endless furniture by Dirk Vander Kooij is made from molten pieces of recycled fridges. A robot squeezes out layer upon layer of the paste to form these amazing continuous shapes.

Gravity Table

It's a good day for tables! The Gravity Table by Simone Savini is great. It is a perfectly functional and beautiful table with the added twist of transparent feet, giving it the impression of floating. A simple idea with a great effect – just what I love! I have not found any detailed info on the designer, but there are more photos on the Yanko Design website.
