1 Million Spiders at Work
































Over one million golden orb spiders have been put to work to create this super valuable 11-foot by 4-foot fabric that is on display at the American Museum of Natural History.
70 people spent over four years collecting the spiders in Madagascar and their golden silk was extracted without harming them on a type of machine originally developed in the 1880's by a French missionary.
