The Land of Giants by Choi + Shine

Considering we currently don't have many alternatives to overland electricity-pylons, why not make a feature of them? American architecture firm Choi + Shine has developed this concept for a competition in Iceland and recently won the 2010 boston society of architects ward for unbuilt architecture.

The pylons are assembled from standard elements, that can be configured in different ways, to reflect their context.
